OUR PURPOSE
As well as proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ our desire is to promote the “unity of the faith and the bond of the Spirit.” If God operates in plurality, yet with each fulfilling specific purpose, in order of authority-why should we do it any differently? (Gen. 1:26) In Acts 13:4, the key word is –SENT I believe leadership that is biblical according to God's design MUST be plural, yet structured in authority carried out by the Holy Spirit. I also believe our definition and understanding of building on the foundation of the apostles and prophets has been taught incorrectly and misconstrued. For the most part-the church is not Holy Spirit driven! The believers of the early church were not driven or influenced by men and their human ways and desires, but were dead to these after a real encounter with Jesus, and were led, instructed and empowered by the Holy Spirit through Jesus the Christ by the wisdom and will of God our Father. Thus, they did not desire or have to be first, or #1. They recognized by the Spirit what was necessary to do God's will and preach the good news and spread the KINGDOM of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Christ. The ambitions and will of men must cease for the true church to arise and be blessed. This is our Fathers' plan and desire from the beginning. He has not changed His mind!OUR VISION
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end--it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” (Hab. 2:2, 3) Therefore we, African Gospel Outreach Mission, are endeavoring to:- Raise up a righteous seed on the earth by providing fathers with father’s hearts to a fatherless generation. (Mal. 4:5, 6; I Cor. 4: 15)
- Provide a mission for ministry that will practice the redeeming and redemptive works of Christ through demonstrations of the Spirit and power (I Cor. 2:1-4).
- Identifying with God’s heart for the lost through compassion and a strong Gospel message.
- Through Deliverance: (Luke 11:20)
- Through Healing: for the entire man; spirit soul, and body (Jam. 5:14-15)
- Through Restoration: demonstrating the love of Christ while meeting the spiritual and practical needs of widows, orphans and strangers. (Ps 146: 9; Jam 1: 27)
- Restore man’s greatest purpose here on earth which is intimacy with God.
- Restore the Presence of God in all races that all nations may worship The One True God together. (Amos 9:11, 12; Acts 15: 16,17)
